# Say hi to Bannerify

> Why I built Bannerify, an image generation API that renders a simple image in under a second, and its use cases: banners, social images, tables, and PDFs.

## Inspiration

In late 2023, I discovered **Satori**, Vercel's OG image generator. I was immediately impressed by its speed and quality. Looking at the market, I noticed most image generation services were expensive and slow, mainly because they relied on Chromium engines. I saw an opportunity to create something better by leveraging Satori and modern cloud technology.

By mid-2024, this idea evolved into Bannerify - an [image generation API](https://bannerify.co/product/image-generation-api) built for various use cases. I went beyond just OG images to support various use cases:

- Social media banners
- Marketing automation
- Email marketing
- Product images

After lots of efforts and a 2 months beta period, I'm excited to announce that **Bannerify** is now *officially launched*.

## Why Bannerify?

First of all, speed is what makes Bannerify different. Powered by **Satori** and enhanced by Cloudflare's technology, here is what Bannerify can offer:
- Fast image download (eg your dynamic image) by storing it on edge caching
- Serve image close to your users with 300+ Cloudflare data centers worldwide
- By hosting on Cloudflare Workers, Bannerify ensures better uptime and scalability for the service
