# SDKs

> Use the Bannerify SDKs to generate images and PDFs from JavaScript, PHP, Go, and Python.

The SDKs wrap the [REST API](https://bannerify.co/docs/api-reference/overview). They send your API key, check the image format before the request, return errors as values, and build signed URLs for you. Any language that can send an HTTP request can also call the API directly.

## What each SDK supports

| | JavaScript | Python | PHP | Go |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Create an image | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Create a PDF | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Create a stored image | Yes | Yes | Yes | No |
| Generate a signed URL | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Save to your own S3 bucket | Yes | No | No | No |

No SDK wraps `createStoredPdf`, the template endpoints, or the info endpoint. Call those over REST.

## Embed the editor

`@bannerify/embed` and `@bannerify/embed-react` are browser packages. They put the Bannerify editor in your app and do not call the REST API. [Embed the editor in your app](https://bannerify.co/docs/integrations/embed-editor) explains how to use them.

## Use the SDKs on the server

Every SDK takes your API key when you create the client, so run it in server code, a worker, or a script. A signed URL is the one thing you can hand to a browser, because it carries a signature and not your key. [Signed URLs](https://bannerify.co/docs/essentials/signed-urls) explains how.
