Inspiration
In late 2023, I discovered Satori, Vercel’s OG image generator. I was immediately impressed by its speed and quality. Looking at the market, I noticed most image generation services were expensive and slow, mainly because they relied on Chromium engines. I saw an opportunity to create something better by leveraging Satori and modern cloud technology.
By mid-2024, this idea evolved into Bannerify - an image generation API built for various use cases. I went beyond just OG images to support various use cases:
- Social media banners
- Marketing automation
- Email marketing
- Product images
- Data visualization: Table, Chart
- URL-based image generation for SaaS
- PDF generation
- And more
After lots of efforts and a 2 months beta period, I’m excited to announce that Bannerify is now officially launched.
