INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR

INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR means a request failed for a reason that no other code covers, such as malformed JSON or a failed render. The API sends status 500.

Problem

The request failed for a reason that no other code covers. The API sends status 500. These are the usual causes:

The request has no Content-Type: application/json header, the JSON is malformed, or the body is empty.
The render failed.
The upload to your own S3 bucket failed, when you send s3Config.
Bannerify had an unexpected problem.

Solution

Send the Content-Type: application/json header and a valid JSON body. If you use s3Config, check the endpoint, region, bucket, and keys.

Retry the request a few times with a short delay. If it keeps failing, write to an@bannerify.co and include the full error response, with the requestId.
