Bannerify

Creatomate alternativeBannerifyvsCreatomate

Creatomate is built for video automation, and it makes still images too. Bannerify is built for images and PDFs: synchronous renders, PDF output, and 10,000 images for $59.

Why teams switch

Where Bannerify is different.

Same job: design a template once, fill it with data many times. Different engine underneath.

  • 10,000 images for $59

    Creatomate Growth 10K is $129 a month for 10,000 credits, and one image is one credit. Bannerify Automate gives the same 10,000 images for $59.

  • No render queue

    Every Creatomate render is a job that you poll or get by webhook. Bannerify returns the image or PDF in the same request.

  • PDF and WebP

    Creatomate outputs JPG, PNG, GIF, and MP4. Bannerify also renders PDF and WebP, for invoices, labels, and reports.

Plan by plan, feature by feature.

Creatomate prices and plan limits checked in October 2026 on the Creatomate pricing page. The Creatomate plan nearest in price is Essential: $54 a month for 2,000 credits. Rendered files are kept for up to 30 days. Plans change, so confirm current pricing before you buy.

When Creatomate is the better pick.

Bannerify does one job: templates in, images and PDFs out. If your job looks like one of these, Creatomate may fit you better.

  • Video is your main output: social clips, ads, and videos with automatic subtitles.
  • You want AI voice-over or AI images inside the template.
  • You want a live preview or editor inside your own app, with the Creatomate Preview SDK.

Switch from Creatomate in three steps.

  1. 01

    Rebuild one template

    Start from a blank canvas or a gallery template, or import a Figma frame with the Bannerify plugin. Text, images, QR codes, tables, and charts are layers that your data can fill.

  2. 02

    Name the layers that change

    Give each layer that takes data a name, such as headline or photo. A request changes each named layer and keeps the rest of the design.

  3. 03

    Send your data

    Call the REST API or an SDK from your code, or connect a spreadsheet or form through Zapier, n8n, or Pipedream. The free plan gives 100 renders a month to test with.

API

The same image in both APIs.

Both APIs take a template and the layers to change. The difference is what comes back.

Creatomate API v2
curl https://api.creatomate.com/v2/renders \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "template_id": "YOUR_TEMPLATE_ID",
    "modifications": {
      "headline": "Summer sale",
      "photo": "https://example.com/shoes.png"
    }
  }'

202 Accepted, with the status planned. The file is ready when the status is succeeded: poll GET /v2/renders/{id} or set webhook_url.

Bannerify
curl https://api.bannerify.co/v1/templates/createImage \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -o banner.png \
  -d '{
    "apiKey": "YOUR_API_KEY",
    "templateId": "tpl_xxx",
    "modifications": [
      { "name": "headline", "text": "Summer sale" },
      {
        "name": "photo",
        "src": "https://example.com/shoes.png"
      }
    ]
  }'

200 OK, and the body is the PNG. For a hosted URL instead, call createStoredImage.

Creatomate API v2 fields and the Bannerify fields that do the same job
Creatomate API v2Bannerify
Authorization: BearerapiKey, in the JSON body

"headline": "Summer sale"{ "name": "headline", "text": "Summer sale" }
"photo": "https://…"{ "name": "photo", "src": "https://…" }
"headline.fill_color": "#ff5733"{ "name": "headline", "color": "#ff5733" }
"badge.visible": false{ "name": "badge", "visible": false }

A Bannerify modification changes the content of a layer: text, text color, image, visibility, QR code, barcode, and table or chart data. Fonts, sizes, positions, and fill colors stay as you set them in the editor. Read the modifications docs. The Creatomate request follows the Creatomate API reference, checked in October 2026.

Try it on your own templates.
