How do I reverse a video?
Choose the video above, keep Reverse selected, and select Make the video. The tool plays the clip from its last frame to its first, and you download the result as an MP4 file.
Can I reverse the sound too?
Yes. With Keep the sound selected, the tool reverses the sound with the picture. Clear it to make a silent video.
How do I speed up or slow down a video?
Choose a speed from 0.25× to 4×, and select Forward to keep the direction. 2× plays the clip in half the time, and 0.5× plays it in double the time. The sound changes speed with the picture and keeps its pitch.
How long can the video be?
The file can be up to 200 MB. To reverse, the clip can be up to 60 seconds, because reversing holds the frames in memory. To change only the speed, the clip can be longer, but a long clip takes a few minutes.
Which file types does it take?
MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, and most other video files. The result is always an MP4 file with H.264 video and AAC sound, which plays on phones, in browsers, and on social media.
Is my video uploaded?
No. The tool runs FFmpeg in your browser with ffmpeg.wasm. Your video stays on your device. The first run downloads the video engine, about 32 MB.
Does it add a watermark?
No. The tool adds no watermark, and you need no account.
Why is the video smaller or lower in quality?
The tool keeps videos of up to 1920 pixels on each side, and makes a larger video smaller to fit. It encodes at a good quality for sharing. For the original quality, use a video editor on your computer.
