What is the A4 size in pixels?
A4 is 210 × 297 mm (8.27 × 11.69 inches). In pixels, it is 2480 × 3508 at 300 DPI, 1240 × 1754 at 150 DPI, 794 × 1123 at 96 DPI, and 595 × 842 at 72 DPI. A pixel has no fixed size, so the DPI sets the number of pixels.
What is A4 at 300 DPI?
2480 × 3508 pixels in portrait, and 3508 × 2480 pixels in landscape. Use this size for a document, a flyer, or a certificate that you will print. The A4 certificate templates of the free certificate generator have this size.
What is the A4 size in pixels for the web and CSS?
794 × 1123 pixels. CSS defines 1 inch as 96 pixels, so an A4 page in a browser, for example a print stylesheet, is 794 × 1123 CSS pixels.
Why is A4 595 × 842?
595 × 842 is the A4 size in PDF points. A point is 1/72 inch, so it is the A4 size at 72 DPI. PDF files and many print tools give page sizes in points.
Which DPI should I use?
300 DPI for a print that people hold, such as a document, a flyer, or a card. 150 DPI for a large poster seen from afar. 96 DPI for a page on a screen. When a print shop or an upload form asks for a DPI, use that value.
What is A4 landscape in pixels?
Landscape swaps the two sides. A4 landscape is 3508 × 2480 pixels at 300 DPI, and 1123 × 794 pixels at 96 DPI.
What are the other A sizes in pixels?
Each A size is half of the size before it. At 300 DPI, A3 is 3508 × 4961 pixels, A4 is 2480 × 3508, A5 is 1748 × 2480, and A6 is 1240 × 1748. The table above shows A0 to A6.
Is A4 the same as letter size?
No. A4 is 210 × 297 mm, and US Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches (216 × 279 mm). A4 is narrower and taller. At 300 DPI, A4 is 2480 × 3508 pixels and Letter is 2550 × 3300 pixels.
How do I make an A4 image at 300 DPI?
Make the image 2480 × 3508 pixels. Then set its DPI value to 300 with the free DPI converter, so that apps print it at the A4 size. The DPI value does not change the pixels.
