How do I convert JSON to a table?
Paste your JSON in the box or open a .json file, then choose Convert to table. Each object in the array becomes a row, and each field becomes a column. Then copy the table into a spreadsheet, or download it as a CSV file.
What happens to nested JSON?
A nested object becomes columns with dotted names, such as address.city and address.country. A list of plain values, such as tags, goes into one cell, separated by commas. A list of objects stays as JSON text in its cell.
My JSON is an object, not an array. Does it work?
Yes. When the object holds a list of objects, such as the data or items field of an API response, that list becomes the rows. Any other object becomes a table with one row.
Is my JSON uploaded?
No. The converter runs in your browser, and the JSON never leaves your device. So you can use it for API responses, exports, and logs that hold private data.
How do I convert JSON to Excel or Google Sheets?
Choose Copy for Excel or Sheets, then paste into a sheet: each value lands in its own cell. Or download the CSV file and open it in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.
Does it read JSON Lines?
Yes. Paste one JSON object on each line, as in a log file or a .jsonl export, and each line becomes a row.
Can I get the table as an image or a PDF?
Not in this converter. With the table generation API, you design the table once in Bannerify, then send the rows as JSON and get the table back as a PNG or a PDF.
Doing this a thousand times?
Design the table once, send the rows as JSON, and get it back as a PNG or a PDF in your own design.
