The converter saves each JPG at quality 82 of 100. JPG is a lossy format, so the JPG is not an exact copy of the WebP, but at this quality the difference is hard to see in a photo. The JPG is often larger than the WebP, because WebP compresses images better.

A JPG cannot store transparency, so the transparent parts of the image do not stay transparent. To keep a transparent background, convert WebP to PNG instead.
